GOOD PRACTICES IN LEISURE
Nowadays not everybody can enjoy the leisure options. Disables people have some limitations like blindness, reduced mobility, deafness or any others, for example in the cinema blindness people need a person who can explain them the scenes , disabled people also have problems to accede to mall centres and have a normal life
So we must adapt our leisure areas for these people.
Next we are going to explain some good practices to help them:
-Visitors in wheelchairs have the right to enter in all leisure places using any of the public entrances. The entrances should be accessible, without steps. Entrances should have ramps .
-Visitors in all Botanic Gardens for example, are encouraged to touch and smell the plants, which have been selected for fragrant or tactile qualities and are all non-toxic.
To help disabled visitors plants are grown in elevated beds at just the right height for persons in wheelchairs. Furthermore a continuous metal railing offers guidance, and Braille labels identify the specimens.
-The Museums provides learning opportunities for visitors of all ages, experienced educators work with both children and adults at all developmental and cognitive levels. All these education programs should be adapted for students with special needs.
